When you have prboblems like knee pain or hip pain, we can see you in the clinic within a week of enquiry and will either treat you on the day or, if surgery for hip replacement or knee replacement along with our other procedures, is required, this can be arranged within a month.
When you are seen in the clinic you will see an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in hip and knee surgery.

Hip Replacement and Knee Replacement treatments
The most common problems diagnosed are:
Overuse injuries
Treatment may be non-operative or surgical
Non-operative treatments may include medication, physiotherapy or injections.
Surgery for Knee conditions and knee pain would normally involve:
- Total Knee replacement
- Partial (half) knee replacement
- Patellofemoral (kneecap) replacement
- Knee arthroscopy (keyhole) surgery
Surgery for Hip conditions is most commonly a Total Hip Replacement but other options are available
